17 Jun 2002

Space Imaging (Denver, Colorado) has received a three-year contract from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to provide satellite imagery products. The $11.3 million agreement will be managed by NASA's Commercial Remote Sensing Program at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Space Imaging will provide its CARTERRA Original, CARTERRA Master, and CARTERRA model one-meter panchromatic and four-meter multispectral resolution image products, collected by Space Imaging's IKONOS satellites, to support NASA's field campaigns to evaluate the topography of intensively studied sites and to provide accurate, high-resolution imagery for land cover and land use studies.
