ALBUQUERQUE, NM, 7 May 2009 – CVI Melles Griot announces the addition of Robert Ireland as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Optics and Photonic Products. Robert Ireland will be reporting to the CEO, Stuart Schoenmann.

The addition of Robert Ireland will help us reach out to more customers with these messages."
Ireland will have responsibility for Sales in the Americas for Optics and Photonic Products, Worldwide Product Management for Optics and Photonic Products, as well as Worldwide Marketing Communications.
Ireland holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Optics from the University of Rochester, and a BS in Physics from the College of the Holy Cross. Ireland has held positions at II-VI, Inc., Corning, Inc., Burleigh Instruments, Inc., and Eastman Kodak Company.
