Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (McCall, Idaho, United States) will be training its hyperspectral remote sensing instrument Probe-1 on Yellowstone National Park. ESSI will deliver hyperspectral images which are expected to yield in-depth qualitative information on Yellowstone by establishing an organic "signature" for plants, animals, and terrain. ESSI and Yellowstone Ecosystem Studies are partnered under the NASA-sponsored project to gather information about the park, including the effects of recent fires on stream health and wildlife habitat.
