FDA clears Dornier's holmium and erbium lasers

The United States Food and Drug Administration has given clearance to Dornier Surgical Products, Inc. (Atlanta, Georgia, United States) for two new laser systems. The clearance covers the Medilas H, a 15 watt holmium laser for stone treatment in urological applications, and the Medilas E, a 2.5 joule erbium laser for dermatological resurfacing.
