DRS receives radar systems contract for Norwegian Coast Guard

DRS Technologies, Inc., has been awarded a contract from EDO Corporation's Combat Systems unit to provide AN/SPS-67(V)3 radar systems, engineering services, and training support for surface ships in the Royal Norwegian Coast Guard fleet. The radar system will provide the ships with ocean surface surveillance and navigation data as well as the ability to detect and track low-flying aircraft and other targets in support of search and rescue missions.
