ITT receives Army contract for night vision equipment

The ITT Night Vision unit of ITT Industries has received a cotnract from the U.S. Army Communications Electronic Command (CECOM) for Generation III night vision equipment. The $172 million (including all options), two-year contract will include production and delivery of AN/PVS-7D and AN/PVS-14 infantry night vision goggles and spare MX-11620 image intensifier tubes.
