API pays $49.8 million for Astor

API Group PLC has paid $49.8 million to the Markem Corporation for Astor Universal, a hot-stamping and holographic foils business. The sale allows Markem to concentrate on its core business of in-line coding equipment while giving API holographic origination and production facilities. (Courtesy Holography News)
