Orbital wins NASA contract

Orbital Sciences Corporation was selected by the NationalAeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to design, test, andbuild an Active Cavity Radiometer Irradiance Monitor satellite forNASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Orbital will integrate thelaboratory-supplied instrumentation with the spacecraft bus,perform laboratory testing, and supply a ground station to thelaboratory. The contract is worth $8.3 million.
