El-Op wins $3 million laser rangefinder contract from U.S. Army

El-Op Electro-Optic Industries Ltd. has been awarded a $3 million contract from the U.S. army to develop laser rangefinders. The rangefinders would employmast-mounted sighting for observing and aiming laser guided weapons, specifically for the Kiowa OH-58 helicopter. (courtesy Laser Focus World)
