Pillar Point sues Photon Data

Pillar Point Partners has filed a patent-infringement lawsuit against JT Lin, Chung Lee, and Photon Data (Winter Park, FL). Pillar Point contends that Photon Data is manufacturing and selling laser vision-correction equipment without a license to the patents held by their company. Pillar Point is also accusing Photon Data of manufacturing and selling a laser that has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. This suit is only the latest in a series of patent-infringement lawsuits filed by Pillar Point aimed at enforcing its rights relative to the use of ultraviolet lasers to correct vision problems.Courtesy of Laser Focus World
