GELcore buys Ecolux

GELcore (a joint venture of General Electric Company and EMCORE) has agreed to buy substantially all of the assets of Ecolux, a leading global LED Signal manufacturer based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Upon completion of the transaction, Ecolux's business will be operated by GELcore and its affiliates.

Ecolux is recognized as a world leader in the LED industry, offering the largest range of high-performance LED traffic control signal modules. It has built a reputation as an innovator with advanced technology solutions including Diolux LED modules. These LED signal products offer tremendous return on investment to end users through energy savings and reduced maintenance costs..
