WSI, Orad announce strategic partnership

Weather Services International (Billerica, Massachusetts) and Orad High-Tech (Kfar Saba, Israel) have announced a strategic partnership. WSI's real-time weather programming and forecasting services will be paired with Orad's advanced studio systems to allow meteorologists to present the weather in virtual surroundings. Broadcasters will be able to insert 2D and 3D weather graphics images from WSI onto any landscape using Orad's CyberSet system. The partnership also includes WSI installing virtual studios from Orad in WSI's United States and United Kingdom operations.
