Research Frontiers successfully tests large-scale coating of light controlling film

Research Frontiers, Incorporated (Woodbury, New York), has successfully carried out a large-scale test to determine the coatability of RFI's SPD light-controlling film. The test, carried out by MSC Speciality Films (San Diego, California), determined that some inhomogeneities were present but those flaws were easily correctable. The SPD technology allows light transmission to be electrically controlled by the user.
