Priority Telecom selects Tellabs for cable telephony service

The Priority Telecom division of United Pan-Europe Communications (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) has selected Tellabs (Lisle, Illinois) to deploy telephony-over-cable services in The Netherlands and France. The three-year contract will utilize Tellabs' CABLESPAN broadband access platform to deliver integrated voice and high speed data services over a hybrid fiber-coax network.
