Esprit Telecom, Fibernet sign UK network agreement

Esprit Telecom Group plc (Reading, United Kingdom) and Fibernet (Albermaston, United Kingdom) have announced a strategic agreement giving Esprit Telecom access to TANet, Fibernet's national SDH backbone network. Esprit Telecom will have access to TANet's 35-city fiber network while TANet will directly connect to Esprit Telecom's extensive pan-European network. Both networks use the same SDH transmission technology and operate at minimum speeds of 2.5 Gbits/second.
