Matrox named vision component supplier for STI inspection systems

Semiconductor Technologies and Instruments, Inc., has chosen Matrox Imaging as a vision component supplier for its complete product line of wafer inspection systems, semiconductor lead and package inspection machines, and OEM engines for integrated laser marking modules. The first products to utilize the decision are a wafer inspection system for post-probe inspection using the Matrox Genesis vision processor, a combination camera and laser-based integrated coplanarity inspection which uses three Matrox Pulsar frame grabber boards, and a high-speed tape and reel system based on two Matrox Pulsar frame grabber boards.
