Nortel Optoelectronics opens manufacturing center

Nortel Optoelectronics opened a manufacturing center for volume production of its passive and amplifier products. The facility in Devon, England, expands Nortel's total optoelectronics manufacturing space to over 54,000 square feet. Nortel expects passive and amplifier markets to grow by 30 to 35 percent a year in the near future.
