AVEX buys Irish camera manufacturing plant from Philips Electronics

Philips Electronics Ireland Ltd. and AVEX Electronics Incorporated have finalized the sale of Philips' security manufacturing plant in Cork, Ireland, to AVEX. Purchase of the 110-employee plant, which had been part of the Video Camera Modules business within Philips' Consumer Electronics division, includes an exclusive agreement for AVEX to continue to supply products currently manufactured there to Philips.
