DRS receives laser warning receiver/rangefinder display contract

DRS Technologies, Inc., has received a contract from the Diesel Division of General Motors of Canada Ltd. to provide additional laser warning receiver and laser rangefinder displays for the new Canadian Forces Armed Personnel Carrier. The displays allow military forces to detect and locate targets as well as identify the location of weapon fire, which provides for humanitarian aid delivery and disaster relief applications as well as military use.
