EDO receives contract for Norwegian Coast Guard vessels

EDO Corp. has received a contract from the Royal Norwegian Navy Materiel Command to upgrade Command, Control and Sensor Systems for Norwegian Coast Guard vessels. EDO will deliver a completely integrated combat system with new radars, a navigation system, an electro-optic sensor, and a helicopter landing system. The systems will improve the ships' maritime patrol and search and rescue capabilities in peacetime as well as its ability to operate as part of the Royal Norwegian Navy's Surface Combat Force in the event of conflict.
