LaserSight requests FDA premarket approval for scanning laser platform

LaserSight Incorporated has submitted a premarket approval application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the company's scanning laser platform. The submission contains data from multiple investigators at sites throughout the United States for research covering treatment of myopia in the range of -1.5 to -10 diopters with less than or equal to 1 diopter astigmatism.
