Eastman-Kodak, Perot Data Systems will team to provide medical imaging archive systems

Eastman Kodak Company and Perot Systems Corporation have signed a letter of intent to work together to provide picture archiving and communications systems technology for institution-wide medical imaging applications. Kodak will employ Perot Systems' networking and integration services capabilities to design and deliver digital imaging management systems in large-scle hospital installations. Kodak's Digital Science medical imaging sytstem allows diagnostic images to be more accessible and is used for applications including teleradiology, remote primary diagnosis, networking of digital modalities (magnetic resonance imaging, computed radiography, etc.), and critical care imaging.
