Kodak MegaPlus cameras used by Boeing for ISS test

17 Jun 2002

Boeing engineers used four Kodak MegaPlus cameras (model 1.4) to obtain real-time data during a critical pressure test of the new International Space Station. The digital cameras are part of a real-time digital photogrammetry system designed by Boeing Phantom Works' Precision Measurements Active Optical Sensors department. The Boeing Video Measurement System, which computes the center of a retroreflective target, measured the pressure-induced deflection at approximately 200 locations.
