DRS Precision Echo gets $2.7 million recording systems contract

DRS Precision Echo, Inc., a subsidiary of DRS Technologies, Inc., has received a contract for approximately $2.7 million from the Sikorsky Aircraft Division of United Technologies. DRS will manufacture AN/AQH-9 Mission Recording Systems for installation on the SH-60F CV Inner Zone Antisubmarine Warfare Helicopters of Taiwan. Options to equip other SH-60F helicopters could increase the total value of the award to $4.2 million. The AN/AQH-9 Mission Recording Systems capture critical antisubmarine warfare sensor data from a variety of sources. The information is used for contact validation, post-mission analysis and crew training.
