E&S receives virtual set system order from China Central Television

Evans and Sutherland has received an order from China Central Television for a MindSet virtual set system. The system, which electronically combines an on-screen announcer or other talent positioned on a blue-screen set with a computer-generated background and foreground, is the first of its kind to be used in China. The 3D virtual set will support a three-camera studio operation with simultaneous input from two video streams.
