Escalon Medical Corp licenses intellectual laser properties

Escalon Medical Corp. has entered into a license agreement with IntraLase Corporation for its intellectual laser properties. IntraLase was recently formed incollaboration with the University of Michigan to develop and create a new generation of lasers for eye surgery and other high-precision medical applications. Escalonfocus on development, marketing, and distributution of medical devices and pharmaceuticals. The deal gives IntraLase the license for Escalon's 14 ultrafast laserpatents and 2 additional U.S. patent applications while giving Escalon a 25% equity in IntraLase along with royalties.
