ASML receives $170 million order from Hyundai

ASM Lithography received an order from Hyundai Electronics Industries Co. Ltd. for multiple systems of ASML's most advanced deep UV and i-line steppers. Theorder, valued at 340 million Dutch guilders ($170 million U.S.), is the largest order ever placed by the electronics manufacturer. Hyundai had evaluated the steppersprior to the order and believes that they will improve the productivity of its lithography processes for DRAMs.
