FiberCore to manufacturer optical fiber and preforms in Asia

FiberCore, Inc., has signed an agreement to establish a joint venture to manufacturer optical fiber and optical fiber performs in Malaysia. FiberCore will hold amajority interest in the joint venture company which includes PNB Equity Resource Corp. and Federal Power (both subsidiaries of Permodalan Nasional Berhad).Capitalization on the project is estimated to be $60 million.
