Donnelly electrochromatic mirrors now on VW Golf

Donnelly Corporation's electrochromatic mirrors, which have been offered on some European luxury cars, are now on the Volkswagen Golf, the firstcompact car to offer European drivers that technology. The Frankfurt International Automobile Show marked the debut of the Glarefree mirrors on the VWGolf. The Glarefree mirrors dim automatically to reduce unwanted headlight glare during nighttime driving, and are also designed to accommodate a rainsensor, which automatically activates the vehicle's windshield wipers if needed.
