FDA clears SLT nasal procedures

Surgical Laser Technologies received FDA approval to market its Sinu-Clear surgical procedure and instruments, a laser treatment for nasal and sinus polyps. SLT already has clearances for ear, nose, and throat applications, but the new clearances allow it to make additional claims in marketing the procedure and the Sinu-Clear probe. The company also received approval to market the Sinu-Clear accessories kit.
