LaserSight Inc. (Orlando, FL) named Michael R. Farris president and CEO, replacing Robert Qualls. Qualls remains as president of LaserSight Technologies, which develops and manufactures ophthalmic lasers for photorefractive keratectomy. Farris was previously president of The Farris Group, a consulting firm for health-care providers that joined LaserSight in 1994.
