16 Oct 2006 Imagine Optic presents its renewed range of wave front sensors and its new phase analysis software. Imagine Optic renews its complete range of Shack Hartmann wavefront sensors by launching the HASO 3.
The use of new generation CCD cameras allows the HASO 3 to offer new interfaces such as a camera link and firewire interfaces for laptops using for instance. These new cameras offer 12 bit resolution which allows better Gaussian beam profile measurement. The compactness of the sensor has been improved, facilitating integration in both laboratory and industrial environments as well as for OEM applications.
Secondly there has been a significant development in the software associated with each wavefront sensor. HASO V3 is delivered with each wavefront sensor and integrates new functionalities such as a slope generator producing a synthetic wavefront for post processing manipulations, measurement reports maker. It is possible to create .AVI files from each window for presentation. All of the processing has been recoded to enable a faster and more robust wavefront calculation.
This new version of the software allows the wavefront sensors to be controlled remotely through wireless or Ethernet networks.
