The appointment of Xina Quan, Norihiko Nakayama and Giovanni Delrosso comes shortly after the company demonstrated its first wavelength selective and switchable component, in addition to raising $40m of additional funding.
Xina Quan has been appointed to the role of Vice President of the Electro-Optic Materials Group based in Sunnyvale, California. She joins DigiLens from Lucent. In Europe, Giovanni Delrosso has been appointed to the position of Project Manager of Photonics Packaging at DigiLens' Midlands based, UK facility. Whilst Norihiko Nakayama's appointment to the position of Executive Director of the company's Japanese subsidiary underlines DigiLens' focus on the Japanese market in particular and the Asia-Pacific market in general.
