A small group of private investors has invested USD 5 million in the US biophotonics company, SpectRx, of Norcross, GA. The investors purchased 400,000 shares of the company's common stock. The latest funding will support work on a non-invasive cancer detection device, which the company is developing alongside Welch Allyn.
