DRS Hadland buys IMCO Electro Optics

DRS Hadland Ltd, a DRS Technologies company that makes high-speed imaging systems, has bought the business and assets of the UK-based company IMCO Electro Optics. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

The two companies have been working in different areas of high-speed imaging. The acquisition means that they can now combine resources and technologies. The two have previously collaborated under a European distribution agreement.

IMCO Electro Optics' four employees retain their jobs and the managing director of the smaller company is now technical director of DRS Hadland.
