Space Imaging promises high resolution images of South America

Space Imaging, of Denver US, has created a wholly owned subsidiary in South America called Space Imaging Latin America. The new subsidiary, in Ecuador, will receive and process satellite imagery collected over the Latin American regions by the Indian Remote Sensing satellites.

Space Imaging says that the subsidiary will provide South America with significantly higher resolution satellite images than previously available from US Landsat satellites. The company expects to supply imagery commercially by the end of August.
