Displays communities born on the Web

Two Web sites devoted to displays and their related technologies provide discussion groups and information sources for companies and individuals.

DISNET, or Display Systems Network, is centred on the UK. It has 73 members from both industry and academia but unregistered visitors can also explore the site and take part in meetings.

The Web site contains a list of members and information for registered visitors, details of meetings, resources, job vacancies and collaboration opportunities.

The California Display Network, based in the US, has yet to post information on its site but visitors can request an e-mail alert of any changes.
