Agfa Corporation to install archiving/communications system to Naval Branch clinic in Florida

Agfa Corporation (Ridgefield Park, New Jersey), the medical imaging subsidiary of Agfa-Gevaert NV (Mortsel, Belgium) has been chosen by the U.S. Defense Supply Center (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) to install a mini-hub picture archiving and communications system at the U.S. Naval Branch Medical Clinic in Key West, Florida. The system allows technicians to transmit patients' digitized x-ray images to radiologists stationed 500 miles away at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
