ADtranz to use Mechanical Dynamics virtual prototyping system

ADtranz (Berlin, Germany) will be using the ADAMS and ADAMS/Rail mechanical system simulation software of Mechanical Dynamics, Inc. (Ann Arbor, Michigan) as its virtual prototyping software. The ADAMS applications for ADtranz, which designs and manufactures rail transportation, will include dynamic safety studies, car body vibration, passenger comfort studies, and component developments. The ADAMS/Rail virtual prototyping environment will allow ADtranz to model new rail car designs and simulate and visualize their full-motion behavior.
