NTT Data Corporation to provide Orbview imagery services in Japan

NTT Data Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) has finalized a $38 million licensing agreement with Orbital Sciences Corporation (Dulles, Virginia) to provide NTT with the exclusive right to market high-resolution imagery from Orbital's subsidiary, Orbital Imaging Corporation. The agreement includes a pre-launch commitment by NTT to purchase and distribute at least $25 million of imagery over five years and a non-exclusive license to NTT to market high-resolution satellite imagery from Orbital's OrbView-3 and OrbView-4 satellites to other Asian nations. NTT will also procure a ground station for approximately $13 million to receive and process OrbView satellite imagery.
