Scan-Optics to acquire scanner division from Photomatrix

Scan-Optics, Inc. (Manchester, Connecticut) has signed a memorandum of agreement to acquire the Photomatrix Scanner and Maintenance Division of Photomatrix Corporation (Carlsbad, California). The agreement, subject to further approvals, includes the acquisition of certain product and technology rights. Scan-Optics will acquire the Vision Series 9000 document scanners, Vision Series 9600 image capture system, and Vision Series 3000 aperture card scanners while Photomatrix will focus on its core manufacturing business and will also be manufacturing products for Scan-Optics.
