EMCORE, Loral Sign Solar Cell Supply Agreement

EMCORE Corporation (Somerset, New Jersey) and Space Systems/Loral (Palo Alto, California) have signed a four-year long-term purchase agreement for EMCORE to supply compound semiconductor high-efficiency gallium arsenide solar cells for Loral's satellite requirements. The initial order release is worth over $5 million for EMCORE.
