DRS to provide boresight systems for British Aerospace

The DRS Photronics, Inc. (Oakland, New Jersey) division of DRS Technologies, Inc. (Parsippany, New Jersey) has an order from British Aerospace Military Aircraft and Aerostructures (Balderstone, Lancashire, United Kingdom) to provide multiple platform boresight equipment for the Hawk 100 series aircraft. The boresight system is a portable, ground-support device which aligns an aircraft's navigation, targeting, and weapon systems with the pilot's sighting gear to ensure synchronization and incorporates a single-beam laser-based electro-optical triaxial measurement system to provide simultaneous and continuous measurement of sighting systems on three axes.
