Drug interdiction program provides first Japanese sale for Vivid

Vivid Technologies (Woburn, Massachusetts) obtained its first purchase from Japan when that country's customs agency ordered two detection systems to help in drug interdiction efforts. The x-ray technology systems will automatically screen luggage at Narita airport in Tokyo.
