EDO receives $10 million contract for infrared earth sensor assemblies

EDO Corp. (New York, New York) has received a $10 million contract from Hughes Space and Communications (El Segundo, California) to produce infrared earth sensor assemblies for Hughes' geosynchronous telecommunications satellite facility. The sensor assemblies will be manufactured at EDO's Barnes unit in Shelton, Connecticut.
