Laser Photonics sells part of subsidiary to American Lasers

American Lasers will purchase certain assets of the Laser Analytics, Inc., unit of Laser Photonics, Inc. The $1.3 million transaction excludes Laser Photonics' excimer laser and delivery systems operations but allows Laser Analytics to concentrate on developing the excimer systems. Laser Photonics designs, develops, manufactures, and markets lasers and will gain Laser Analytics' lead-salt lasers and detectors, nitrogen and dye lasers, and solid-state lasers.
