OSI receives Chinese orders for x-ray screening equipment

OSI Systems, Inc., has received an order for x-ray machines for use in an airport project in the People's Republic of China. The order for 27 x-ray machines and two mobile x-ray units is for equipment manufactured by OSI's Rapiscan subsidiary. Rapiscan's x-ray screening machines employ image processing and computer-based technology to allow rapid and consistent detection capability; scanned images can be selectively enhanced and archived.
