ICEM acquired by Parametric Technology

ICEM Technologies has reached an agreement to be acquired by Parametric Technology Corporation. The purchase, which should be completed by mid-June if closing conditions and regulatory approvals permit, will pay Control Data Institute $45 million for its German-based subsidiary. The acquisition adds ICEM Technologies' surface modeling software to the resources of Parametric Technology's automation software.
