Army Command awards Advanced Technical Products $3.6 million for camouflage systems

The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command has awarded a $3.6 million contract to Advanced Technical Products, Inc., to produce various configurations of radar scattering camouflage systems and components. The camouflage systems and components are used to disperse visual, radar and near-infrared signatures in situations where natural cover or concealment may be absent or inadequate. Production, qualification, and testing will begin in mid-1998 with delivery scheduled for completion in 1999.
