Tunisia declares Grumman's airspace management system operational

Tunisia's Office des Ports Aerien de Tunisie has declared Northrop Grumman Corporation's airspace management system fully operational. The airspace management system, along with the associated ASR-9 airport surveillance radar and long-range monopulse secondary surveillance radar, were delivered and integrated over the past several years. These are integrated into Northrop Grumman's airspace management system which inclides radar and flight data processing and ATC display subsystems. The enhanced capabilities will provide additional safety and improved en-route services as well as approach control for Tunis-Carthage and Monastir airports.
